Koforidua Semper Fi head coach Isaac Agyemang expressed his disappointment after his team’s 1-0 loss to True Democracy on Sunday afternoon.

Agyeamg acknowledged the struggles that have plagued their season following their fifth consecutive game without a win.

From the onset, Semper Fi dominated possession, creating numerous scoring opportunities, but their inability to find the back of the net proved costly.”

Their fortunes took a hit when Enoch Afotey was sent off, leaving them with ten men for the final stages of the game.

True Democracy capitalised, with Zama Marzuk scoring the decisive goal in the 81st minute, handing Semper Fi yet another frustrating result.

"Everybody is sad in the team. The players are sad. The management, technical, everybody, the supporters, they are not happy because we are not getting the results,” Agyemang admitted. "We played well. We played very well. We had a lot of chances but we couldn't use them."

Despite the disappointment, Agyemang urged the team’s supporters to remain patient as they push to overcome their struggles.

"We still hope that we will get our first win, and when we get it, the wins will follow," he continued.

"The supporters should also be patient with us... We assure them that in our next away match, we’re going to get the three points and continue winning for them."
